BENEFITS OF SALT BATHS...

I've always enjoyed baths as a cleansing, soothing, therapeutic and meditative event.

There's just something about the addition of salts, oils, (sometimes some herbal teas), along with soothing, aromatic candles and some incense. Gives me that spa experience right at home.

So, I want to bring awareness to the benefits of using salts in a bath...

BENEFITS OF A BATH

Baths are great for not only 'washing' but their relaxing qualities along with physical and mental well being.

Baths should be at the right temperature 'warm' to be beneficial. Although on those cold winter nights, I do love a hot bath. But baths that are too hot can leave you feeling tired and even dehydrated and dizzy.

What we put into a bath is equally important. The warm water dilates our skin, allowing easier absorption of chemicals into our body and organs. So, it is very important to be mindful of what we do put into our bath.

ADDING SALTS TO BATHS

When it comes to adding salts to a bath, the most common are, Epsom Salt, Sea Salt and Pink Himalayan Salt. These salts contain nutrients such as iron, magnesium and sulfate.
